I feel as though I have learnt a lot from the work that I have been doing but more than anything the time that I have spent at the ILC has shown me how well I have been prepared for the outside world following the completion of my studies. I think that choosing to apply for an internship after completing my University studies has definitely been an advantage.

Leah Mundy, ILC

Each day of my internship I was challenged by the tasks allocated by my supervisor. They tested and furthered my legal knowledge by asking difficult and novel questions, whilst my supervisor was able to provide assistance where I required it, I relished the chance to solve problems for myself.

Michael Brown, ILC

I have always been interested in Aboriginal affairs and social justice and with this practical experience, I know now for sure that I want to work in an area of law that works with or supports Aboriginal people.
