Through the Aurora Internship Program I was placed at Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation (YMAC), based at their Perth office. I was there for 6 weeks throughout November and December 2017. YMAC is a not for profit Native Title Representative Body.
In July of 2017, I was given the opportunity to be part of The Aurora Internship Program. Aurora places a range of students and graduates from different disciplines with Indigenous sector host organisations that may lack staff or funding.
This winter I had the wonderful opportunity to take part in the Aurora Internship Program.
The Aurora Internship Program is an amazing opportunity to get real world experience in the indigenous sector, before (or in my case, after) you finish uni!
Over the 2015 winter break I was fortunate enough to be given the incredible opportunity of participating in the Aurora Internship Program by undertaking a legal placement at the Geraldton office of the Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation (YMAC).
Over the winter break, I completed a four-week legal internship at Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation (YMAC) in Geraldton, Western Australia as part of the Aurora Internship Program. From the first day, I felt so welcomed by all the staff at YMAC.
I was fortunate enough to be placed at the Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation (YMAC) office in Geraldton, which is really a one-of-a-kind workplace.
