As part of the Aurora Internship Program (Summer 2018/19), I was afforded the opportunity to spend six weeks with the Aboriginal Legal Service Care and Protection team (‘ALS’) in Parramatta, NSW.
Fresh from a fantastic internship at UTS Jumbunna in February 2018 via the Aurora Internship Program, I applied for a second one, and was placed with the Aboriginal Legal Service at their Head Office.
From November to December 2018, I was given the opportunity to take part in an Aurora Internship at the Aboriginal Legal Service in Wollongong for approximately 5 weeks. The Internship has been the most rewarding experience offered to me during my time at university.
I completed my six week internship placement at the Aboriginal Legal Service (NSW/ACT) Limited (ALS) Lismore between 5 November 2018 and 14 December 2018, via the Aurora Internship Program. The experience was personally and professionally rewarding.
During the Summer of 2018 I was lucky enough to undertake a second Aurora Internship at the Aboriginal Legal Service (ALS) in Parramatta, in the Care and Protection Unit.
Three words encapsulate my time at the Aboriginal Legal Service: rewarding, fast-paced and amazing. I applied for the Aurora Internship Program with an open mind and a keen sense of adventure in trying something new.
