I was fortunate enough to be placed at the Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation (YMAC) office in Geraldton, which is really a one-of-a-kind workplace.
Our Nissan Patrol hurtles along the perfectly straight, endless road stretching out due east. On either side, the rough bitumen is lined with ants’ nests – plump, craggy mounds of all different sizes – which rise from the red dirt like twin lines of pointy sandcastles.
Over the winter break, I completed a four-week legal internship at Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation (YMAC) in Geraldton, Western Australia as part of the Aurora Internship Program. From the first day, I felt so welcomed by all the staff at YMAC.
Over the 2015 winter break I was fortunate enough to be given the incredible opportunity of participating in the Aurora Internship Program by undertaking a legal placement at the Geraldton office of the Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation (YMAC).
