To finish off my undergraduate degree, I decided to undertake an internship with the Aurora Internship Program over the summer holidays.
Putting historical research into practice: My Aurora internship at AIATSIS
In the summer of 2018 I was fortunate enough to undertake a six-week internship placement through the Aurora Internship Program. I applied for an Aurora Internship through the social sciences stream after graduating from the University of Western Australia with a major in Archaeology.
Spending six weeks at APO NT via the Aurora Internship Program was the perfect end to my time at university and start of a next chapter. I just finished my Honours year and stepping out of the books and into the real world was a difficult but much needed and welcomed change.
With my first year of university coming to a close and summer nearing, I was in need of work. I spoke to the careers centre at uni and was informed of the Aurora Project Internship Program.
